The Elair Lamp is a desk luminaire distinguished by its

precise construction and unique character. Designed

and crafted for the Production Processes course at the

Pontifical Catholic University, it was developed under

the challenge of integrating at least three different

materials into a coherent and functional piece.

Its structure combines acrylic as the predominant

material, steel, white cement, and marble, all brought

together in a balanced and elegant composition. A red

cord cable introduces a bold visual accent, breaking the

neutrality of the materials with a vibrant detail.

Elair’s value lies in its ability to harmonize diverse

materials into a single unified object, where the

transparency of acrylic merges with the stone-like solidity

and metallic precision, achieving a refined and

contemporary aesthetic.

ORBITA is a tensegrity bench that prioritizes intelligence over mass. Its interlaced ellipses create a harmonious, airy silhouette that is aesthetically appealing from every angle.

The design features three distinct tensegrity systems, which together form a coherent and functional seating structure.

  1. Pneumatic Tensegrity – The faux-leather seat covers and contains an inflatable cushion.

  2. Bar–Cable Tensegrity – The cushion is tensioned to the seat’s base with a black cord.

  3. Bar–Cable Tensegrity – Steel cables are used to prevent the ellipses from opening or buckling.

ÓRBITA demonstrates how structural efficiency and visual lightness can coexist, resulting in a piece that balances engineering precision with sculptural elegance.

The Air Cross Bench is a two-seat design crafted entirely

from 3 mm plywood, combining lightness with structural

strength. Its form is defined by curved panels and modular

cutouts, joined through exposed mechanical fastenings

that add a subtle visual rhythm.

The gently arched seating surfaces provide comfort while

giving the piece a dynamic profile. Designed to make the

most of minimal material, Air Cross achieves visual lightness

and functional stability, offering an inviting seating solution

for both public and private spaces.
